By booking a service with Shine On UK, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1.1 Service Schedule
Our window cleaning service is available on a 4-, 6-, or 8-week schedule, depending on your preference. If you change the frequency of your cleaning, the price will adjust automatically according to our standard price list. We appreciate your flexibility with occasional adjustments due to holidays or unforeseen circumstances.
1.2 Cleaning in Wet Weather
Our services operate in all weather, including rain, due to our proven cleaning system. With over 17 years of experience, we are confident in our ability to meet high standards regardless of weather. If you’re not satisfied with the results, contact us within 2 working days, and we’ll return to re-clean at no extra cost. With Shine On UK, you have nothing to lose, rain or shine!
1.3 Cancellations and Rescheduling
Reliability is essential to our service. If you need to cancel on the day of service or if our team is turned away, we reserve the right to charge a part or full cleaning fee or discontinue service. We understand that access may occasionally be restricted due to holidays or building work; if possible, please provide at least 2 weeks’ notice.
1.4 Customer Satisfaction
Our priority is delivering exceptional service. If you’re not fully satisfied, please contact us within 2 working days, and we will arrange a re-clean. We value your feedback, which helps us continually improve. Complaints made after 2 working days may not qualify for a re-clean.
Chargeable Call Backs: If the issue reported is not related to the quality of the clean, our cleaners have the right to inform the customer that a chargeable call back will apply.
1.5 Privacy Policy
All customer data is kept secure and confidential, in line with data protection regulations. Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent.
1.6 Payment Terms
Full payment is due within 10 days of the cleaning date. Timely payments help us maintain our high service standards. We recommend using our GoCardless payment method for convenience or paying cash on the day of service. If you have any payment-related questions, please contact us.
1.7 Terminating Service
You may cancel your service at any time by calling or texting 07754954971 or emailing info@shineonuk.co.uk.
Our Service Methods
2.1 Reach and Wash Cleaning
We use a reach-and-wash system with purified, chemical-free water, ensuring a safe, residue-free clean for windows, frames, and sills. Please ensure clear access around your property, and close all windows and doors before our arrival. Our system reaches up to 4 stories (35 feet), though some angles or recessed areas may be inaccessible. We also use this method for conservatories, fascias, and soffits.
2.2 Traditional Squeegee and Ladder Cleaning
For certain areas, we may use traditional squeegee and ladder techniques. For interior windows, please clear windowsills and any nearby furniture in advance to allow safe, efficient cleaning.
2.3 Gutter Clearing with Industrial Vacuum
Our gutter clearing service employs a wet-dry vacuum capable of reaching 40 feet. All waste is collected and removed from the property.
2.4 Insurance Coverage
Shine On UK is fully insured, with public liability coverage for all cleaning and roof clearing services.
2.5 Text Reminder Service
We offer a convenient text reminder service, notifying you at 7 pm the evening before each scheduled visit. This ensures you’re prepared for our arrival.
